In this highly developed information society, we are deeply affected by the huge power of the Internet. Network nowadays nearly permeates into every corner of the social life. Network education has already become an important educational pattern which manifests tremendous vitality and prosperous future. This background brings an exciting opportunity to the English writing teaching mode in senior high school. For many years, educators have been advocating that there are a mass of learning resources on the network which can provide students with better conditions for independent study. They say Network study has great advantages over traditional classroom teaching in a number of ways. Consequently, many teachers and researchers begin to encourage network teaching mode passionately. What’s more, some surprisingly dare to say that teachers should consider to get rid of traditional classroom teaching mode and predict sooner or later there will be no other teaching mode but network study. But can it really be a tsunami washing away the traditional classroom teaching mode? If not, what’s the best way to utilize network services for the teaching of writing.In this paper I Take the students of Grade 10 at Nankai Senior High School in Chongqing as the teaching object so as to find out the reasonable way to integrate the English teaching writing with the Internet. It starts from analyzing matters of English writing and application of network platform, combining the actual condition of English teaching in senior high school. Besides, this paper picks three applicability genres from the FLTRP to design some teaching cases. With action research being the method, this paper digs deeper into the way to combine network with English writing teaching. In addition, this paper explores the appropriate way to use network to advance writing teaching. I discover the network can enrich language input in the process of teaching which allows students to have something to write. It can arouse students’ interest in writing to some extent and help students to study on their own according to their own situation. But there are still some fatal flaw for teaching writing on the Internet, We can not give too much expectations on the role of the network Writing and abandon the traditional classroom teaching. We should treat them reasonably both, knowing their two-side effect separately. And then we could build the ideal Writing Mode to promote high school English writing skills.
