High school Chinese textbooks, novels accounted for a larger proportion, selecting scope is broad, with high social and cultural value and historical value. The teaching of high school novels is of great significance to comprehensively promote the quality of Chinese language.. First of all, the novel teaching is an important way to improve the students’ cultural awareness; secondly, novel teaching is an important method to improve the students’ ability of appreciation; thirdly, the novel teaching is students spiritual level, improve the rich students to experience life of an important means.There are many problems in the teaching of high school novels by the binding of exam oriented education.. For example: teaching content boring, teaching methods, evaluation methods meet the old customs, inflexible formality. In view of this, "Chinese taste" under the guidance of the teaching thought the novel teaching of high school advocates the novel "articles", "Literature" and "culture" three layered interpretation through "sixth sense" the comprehensive use of teaching method, to stimulate students’ interest in reading, cultural horizons are wide open, life experience enriched."Chinese taste" under the guidance of the teaching thought of the novel teaching of high school study encompasses six levels: overview and analysis of selected senior high school Chinese textbook novel; the manifestation and reason of lack of novel reading teaching in senior high school "Chinese taste"; "Chinese taste" teaching thought is summarized and its theoretical foundation; "Chinese taste" under the guidance of the teaching thought high school novel teaching principle; "Chinese taste" under the guidance of the teaching thought high school novel teaching strategies and "Chinese taste" teaching guiding ideology of the novel teaching of high school should pay attention to the problem.
