Enterprises’ participation in the Cooperation between Vocational Institutes andEnterprises is one of the important ways to realize the goal that vocational educationcultivates skilled talents with high quality in China. Enterprise is one of the principalparts of the Cooperation between Vocational Institutes and Enterprises. Its attitude andextent of participation determines the quality of our country’s skilled talents. However,enterprises participate in the Cooperation between Vocational Institutes and Enterpriseswith very low positivity, which is a serious problem for our vocational educationdevelopment. The low positivity includes: enterprises’ participation is not enough, thoughthey agree that this kind of cooperation is good for vocational education; the types ofenterprises which take part in the cooperation are very limited and the methods thatinstitutes and enterprises contact each other are also limited; the depth of cooperation isnot deep enough and the quality is low. So far, enterprises do not have too manyrequirements from vocational institutes and enterprises have lots of worries during theactual participating process. All of those problems show that our country has not formedan extensive and effective mechanism of Cooperation between Vocational Institutes andEnterprises. Improving the enterprises’ positivity to participate the cooperation is the keymeasure for vocational education development.Firstly, this thesis, which does research on positivity of enterprise of participating inthe Cooperation between Vocational Institutes and Enterprises, reviews the relevanttheories from two aspects which are theoretical study on enterprises’ participation in theCooperation between Vocational Institutes and Enterprises and how to build themotivation mechanism of enterprise participation in this cooperation. It also analyzes thepresent situation of enterprises participation in the vocational education through existingpractical investigation studies. Secondly, based on the resource dependence theory andcorporate social responsibility theory, this thesis finds out four factors which can causeenterprises to participate in the cooperation. The factors include: enterprises’requirements of skilled talents only rely on vocational institutes; the Cooperation betweenVocational Institutes and Enterprises is attractive enough; the government make laws toforce enterprises to participate; enterprises have enough social responsibility. Accordingto these four factors and our present situation, and through analyzing practical cases, it finds out the essential reasons that effect enterprises’ positivity to participate in theCooperation between Vocational Institutes and Enterprises. Finally, the thesis proposes afew of measures to improve enterprises’ positivity to participate in the Cooperationbetween Vocational Institutes and Enterprises. It researches how to improve the corporatesocial responsibility and awareness of taking part in the cooperation, how to perfectrelevant law system and clear enterprises law responsibility; how to increase internal andexternal attraction of the Cooperation between Vocational Institutes and Enterprises andraise the resource independence extent of enterprises.
