Practical teaching is vital to engineering education. However, with the expansion of teachingscale and continuous update of application technology, the original experiment and training arerestricted in funds, space, physical equipment and many other ways that greatly affect the qualityof experiment teaching. Base on this point, this paper arms to build remote virtual experimentsystem for the purpose of construction engineering teaching platform, which could improve theshortage of communication experiment resources and meet the growing requirement forexperimental applications.The paper begins with the research of the application of virtual instrument technology inexperiment teaching field, and introduces its networking application as a future development trend,and also investigates the research status of remote experiment platform. Based on these, thesubject has been established that is a design of remote wireless communication experimentalplatform based on the PXI.1. Through the research on the traditional C/S, B/S network structure comparison, this paperproposed C/S/D network architecture for this experimental platform application requirements.Select the software radio IF digital scheme of structure and develop the hardware structure of theplatform and measurement solution of vector signal. Specifically describes the signalmeasurement principle in frequency domain and modulation domain and the parameter index.2. We adopt PXI bus architecture to build test system hardware platform. Using PXI-5661and PXI-5671RF module to design and compose the PXI RF vector signal transceiver integratedplatform. This paper describes the function of each module and the composition, structure diagram,and the flow of signal processing. According to the actual use of the platform and signal pathbetween the different module, it make them combination and connection.3. Experimental platform software development is divided into system software andexperimental project design, using LabVIEW graphical programming language to design.1)System software consists of client, server and device terminal three parts software composition.They should be developed respectively, according to the different division of task for eachterminal, and combing with the functional applications of experimental platform, to realize operation response and network communication of the whole experimental system.2) According tothe experimental of communication principle teaching contents, we design experimental projects,which included software and hardware sharing experiments. For software sharing experiments, wedevelop the program to perform the verification of the theory, system modeling, signal processingsimulation and other applications. For hardware sharing experiments, this paper focuses on theprogram design work at device terminal side. Through the underlying function, the program coulddriver and control equipment to complete the base-band signal modulation and emission,collection and measurement of spectrum data, collection, demodulation and vector analysis of IQdata. In text, it take FM and QAM experiment projects as examples to introduced developmentprocess of the software and hardware sharing experiment development.All of above research and development work are proven by the actual testing and systemverification. Through practice indicated the design of the platform could meet the requirements ofexperiment teaching and remote test control, it also had characteristics of openness,comprehensive and flexibility.
