As the standard of behavior that all the citizens should observe, family virtue isrestraining human behaviors all the time. Family virtue education also plays the importantrule in the development process of undergraduates’ ideology, morality and psychologicalquality. However, the lack of family virtue education gives the bad influence for the mentalhealth of undergraduates. In order to promote the effect of family virtue education as well asto make family, school and society to pay high attention of this case, in this article the authoris doing the analysis and research in the problems which exist in the process of family virtueeducation with the expectation of the followings: To regularize the ideology and moralitybehavior of undergraduates and to promote personal accomplishment; to provide theguarantee for undergraduates going to work and integrating into society; to make contributionfor strengthening and improving ideological and political education of modern undergraduatesand cultivating qualified successors for our motherland; to lay the foundation forundergraduates to carry forward the traditional virtues of the Chinese nation; to lay the solidand reliable micro-foundation for social moral development and expand the moral rules of themodern period.The article is divided into four parts:First: The premise analysis of the family virtue education for undergraduates. This partstarts with the basic concept of family virtue education and states the educational connotation,including analyzes the relationship between family, school and the society, as well as statesthe character of family virtue education such as fundamentality and continuity, inchoate andchronicity, osmosis and bi-directional. This part also states the family virtue education ispromoting on historical dimensions, paradigm dimensions, and the main dimensions.Second: The circumstances consideration of the family virtue education forundergraduates. This part mainly reveals the anomie acts which performed by theundergraduates, for instance, looking down on respect for the elderly, loving the young toomuch, and having the incorrect value on love and marriage, lack of scientific consumptionview and being apathetic on relationship between family and neighborhood. According to theresearch and analysis this article is going to seek the reason that causes this kind ofphenomenon.Third: The rational reflection of the challenge for the family virtue education forundergraduates. This part mainly compared the traditional virtue and modern virtue as well asthe traditional family virtue and modern family virtue, in order to promote the concept of the traditional family education and to work out the family virtue education which is moresuitable for undergraduates.Four: The suggestion and design for the family virtue education for undergraduates. Onaccounting of the problems that the former parts mentioned, this part comes up with the newstrategy for strengthening the family virtue education for undergraduates which is changingeducation idea, innovating education mode and optimizing the education environment;through the optimization and integration of family, school and society, to provide the theoryand practice guidance for the family virtue education for undergraduates.
