A Study Of Network Environment’s Impact On College Students’Ideological And Political Education

With the new development and quick spread of the Internet technology, the network-based environment has brought great impacts on college students’ ideological and political education. Therefore, it is an important research subject to find an effective way to deal with the impact of this new technology revolution in the new period. Currently, education institutions and the whole society pay particular attention to the network environment’s impact on college students, so college students’ ideological and political education seems to be more important and urgent than ever before. So college students’ lack of physical and psychological health and cognitive ability needs to be resolved by ideological and political education work based on the network environment.Among students of Beijing University of Chemical Technology, the author does a research on the impact of the current Internet environment on college students’ ideological and political education, the analysis of students’ new changes and characteristics and also the difficulties in college students’ ideological and political education in the new environment. This thesis holds the view that network-based environment not only brings an unique educational environment, providing more abundant education resources and modern means and carriers and advancing the forming and updating of college students’ new ideological concepts but also it brings many negative effects on college students’ideological and political education concepts, environment and manners, which lead to students’ lack of healthy life values, moral quality and health of body and mind and bring new requirements to college students’ ideological and political educators.Based on the challenge and influence of network environment on college students’ ideological and political education, the author proposes the following countermeasures of college students’ ideological and political education in the network-based environment:the educators should enhance the awareness of students’ ideological and political education construction in the network environment; build new Internet field of students’ ideological and political education in order to utilize the Internet resources to strengthen college students’ ideological and political education; create a harmonious atmosphere for college students’ ideological and political education in the based on network environment; provide initiative content for college students’ ideological and political education by advancing the teaching methods; enhance the moral education on Internet and perfect the Internet management system; strengthen the construction of network-based ideological and political education troop. In a summary, this thesis aims to explore new approaches and methods to strengthen and improve ideological and political education and then realize the perfection and development of ideological and political education in the network environment.
