With inventories, we investigated College Students’ professional identity and learning in thestudy, aimed at finding out the situation and features of students’ autonomous learning andfurther analysis of professional identity relationship,to enrich research on autonomous learning,provide theoretical support for teaching work on college students’ autonomous learning, putforward some suggestions of education on college students’ autonomous learning according tothe relationship between the two, and finally promote college students’ autonomous learningbetter formation.With Professional Identity Questionnaire for College Students and Self-Regulated LearningScale for College Students,313college students from five universities in Nanning City Guangxidistrict were investigated in the study. The results showed that:1.College students’ sense of professional identity was below the middle level2.College students have some degree of autonomy level, the learning motivation in themiddle level and learning strategy slightly above the medium level.3. As far as the college students’ learning strategies, girls scored significantly higher thanboys.4. The score of freshman who autonomously chose the professional in learning motivationwas significantly lower than that of freshman who didn’t autonomously chose the professional;However, The score of junior showing the opposite situation.5. Significant positive correlation was found between professional identity andlearning motivation, as well as learning strategies.6. The score of students whose professional identity was high was significantly higher thanthat of students whose professional identity was low in learning motivation and learning strategy.7. Behavior of professional identity and appropriateness of professional identity both hadsignificant positive predictive effect on the learning motivation, and the behavior of professionalidentity explanation was more.8. Behavior of professional identity had significant positive predictive effect on the learningstrategies.On the basis of empirical research, some suggestions are proposed in this study: collegesand universities should pay attention to the cultivation of students’ autonomous learning, pay attention to the professional identity and increase efforts to improve it, create good conditions forthe students to better learning, make them make full preparation for the employment.
