The further promotion of the reform and opening and the establishment of socialist market economicsystem, not only changed our traditional economic structure, but also the traditional values and moralsystems subject to strong impact. Some immoral behavior and bad atmosphere spread, society appearedserious moral decline phenomenon. All sorts of worrying phenomenon had caused us to reflect: economicdevelopment does not represent the moral quality’s improvement, compared with the rapid development ofmaterial civilization, spiritual civilization, especially the ideological and moral construction has seriouslylagged.Although training "both ability and political integrity" talents is our goal and mission, the state alsohas been advocated "ruling the country by virtue","people-centered education, moral education first", butin the actual implementation, the education scale occurred severe tilt, many schools, teachers and parentsstill emphasize the academic achievement under the examination stress.moral education has long not beengiven due attention, moral status of ordinary senior middle school students is worrying.As the main channelof moral education in ordinary senior middle school, the actual moral education effect of ideological andpolitical course is not just as one wishes, how to attach great importance to and reinforce moral educationhave become a pressing issue. From the perspective of politics teaching of the ordinary high school, thispaper discusses how to strengthen the moral education of ordinary senior middle school students.This paper, through the investigation and study, more accurately grasp the current situation of moraleducation in ordinary senior middle school through Politics teaching, points out the problems of moraleducation in ordinary senior middle school through Politics teaching, and analyze the reasons of theproblems of the current ideological and political course in ordinary senior middle school in many ways, andfinally put forward some feasible measures to solve these problems, in order to effectively enhance theeffect of moral education in ordinary senior middle school through ideological and political course.Our current problems of moral education in ordinary senior middle school teaching throughideological and political course are: teaching objectives deviation; teaching content detach from socialreality; teaching methods obsolete; teaching evaluation methods and subjects are single; students’ classlearning enthusiasm is not high, the effect of moral education is worrying. The causes of these problems can be summarized in the following aspects: schools overemphasize theenrollment rate and neglect moral education in the traditional mode of exam-oriented education; division ofArts and Science in college entrance examination make the political lesson a marginalized status;comprehensive quality of some teachers is not high; bad influence from the socialist market economy andthe mass media in the social environment; families neglect moral education and high school students’physical and psychological characteristics.To solve these problems, we can proceed from the following aspects: reform the traditionalexam-oriented education model in order to create conditions for exerting the function of moral educationfundamentally; improve the overall quality of teachers, construct a harmonious relationship betweenteachers and students; implement teaching objectives and guide students’ moral development direction;enrich the teaching content and makes it closer to the actual times and life; innovative teaching methods toimprove teaching standards; improve teaching evaluation system to achieve scientific assessment; create agood atmosphere of moral education, form a whole moral education force of school, family and society.
