Community education is one of the main features of modern education, serves asan important carrier to build lifelong education system and learning society. Thesociety pays more and more attention to it. Starting with the development of urbancommunity education, based on the analysis of the current situation of urbancommunity education, this paper strives to explore the period request, to analyze theactual problems, to quest a way which has both scientificalness and timeliness thatcan promote the development of urban community education in less developedregions. This paper also tries to provide some reference basis to promote the quality ofurban community education in less developed regions and provide theoretical supportand practical guidance in building a lifelong education system.The first chapter is the introduction, generally expounding the origin andsignificance of topic selection, related research of urban community education in lessdeveloped regions and introducing the basic ideas, methods and innovation of thispaper. This chapter elaborates the theory of harmonious society, lifelong learningtheory, the learning society theory and the theory of learning organization, providingthe theoretical foreshadowing for the future studies.The second chapter elaborates the era characteristics from three aspects, systemarchitecture, operating mechanism and resources integration of urban communityeducation in less developed regions. It introduces the trend of urban communityeducation in less developed regions from three aspects, cognitive, target and method.The third chapter provides the realistic bases for this study based on the analysisof the information and data from the research in Jiangxi province. Find the mainproblems of urban community education in less developed regions, retrospect theroots of these problems.The fourth chapter elaborates the basic strategy of urban community education inless developed regions. This chapter clears the guiding ideology, overall objectivesand basic principles of the development of urban community education in lessdeveloped regions, proposes some methods to push the development of urbancommunity education in less developed regions.The last conclusion part of this article carries on the profound reflection and forma follow-up expectation.
