With the development of society, the mental problems of adolescents becomemore and more complicated, which attracts a lot of attention. Based on the theoreticaland practical research of dance movement therapy, the study discussed the methods ofimproving adolescents’interpersonal constitution through the way of group guidance.24junior high school second-year students participated in the study, includedexperiment group(12students) and control group(12students). Pro-test and post-testand trace experimental design were adopted.In the study, the experiment group got8group guidances of dance movement therapy, while the control group got nothing.Thepro-test and post-test data of two groups would be analyzed after the experiment. Tofind out the intervening effects and mechanism of the group guidance, qualitativeresearch was added.Results:1.In the control group, the difference was not significant in interpersonalconstitution scores of pro-test and post-test and the three dimensions(p>0.05).2.In the experiment group, the interpersonal constitution score of pro-test wassignificantly higher than the score of post-test(p<0.05). The three dimensions’ scoreof interpersonal constitution were higher after group guidance, of which interpersonalskills and interpersonal adjustment reached the significant level(p<0.05).3.The difference of interpersonal constitution score and its three dimensions ofexperiment group was not significant in the trace experiment.the feedbacks of dance movement therapy were concluded as follows:1.All the participants spoke high of the group guidance and every parts got over6points(0was minimum and10was maximum).2.Group guidance of dance movement made the members know themselves moreduring the interpersonal communication.3.Group guidance of dance movement made the members know others moreduring the interpersonal communication.4.The group guidance of dance movement therapy changed ways ofparticipants’interpersonal communication.5.The group guidance of dance movement therapy improved participants’confidence to communicate with others. 6.The participants learned some interpersonal skills through the group guidanceof dance movement therapy, bettering their ability of their interpersonalcommunication.7.The participants focus more on non-verbal factors through the groupguidance of dance movement therapy, improving the integrity of interpersonalcommunication.the main conclusion of this study was summarized as follows:1.the group guidance of dance movement therapy can improveadolescents’interpersonal constitution. And it argues that there is significant guidanceeffect on the dimensions of interpersonal skills and interpersonal adjustment throughthe group guidance.2.the group guidance of dance movement therapy has persist and positiveinfluence on the adolescent’s interpersonal constitution.
