Study On The Teaching Efifciencies Of The Activity System In Geography Students’ Textbook

The surface system includes words and activity system. The newly revision oftextbook and issue of new curriculum standard not only emphasize the important ofthe traditional teaching，also strengthen the research on activity teaching, which isconducive to improving the teaching validity. This paper took Geography Students’Textbook1published by People’s Education Press as subject to improve the teachingvalidity. The basic theory of psychology and pedagogy, and the content, categories,functions of activity system were analyzed. The situation of activity teaching wasstudied via the interview and survey. Based on above detailed analysis, this paperproposed the some effective teaching strategies. The inclusion including:i. There were38activities in the Geography Students’ Textbook1published byPeople’s Education Press, which were divided into seven categories, such as graphanalysis, question analysis, class discussion, drawing graph and fill table, read andthink, experiment, data collection and paper writing.ii.The different activities had different functions. Overall, these functions includethe consolidation of knowledge, the train of ability, emotion and attitude, the shape ofvalues.iii.There existed some problems in the process of Geography teaching activitiesvia the interview and survey, and provided some effective strategies for theseproblems.iv.This paper proposed corresponding effective strategies for every activity type,and provided the case study.
