In recent years, as China’s economical transformation and upgrading, many new social problems occurred in our country, the educational problem of the migrant workers’ minor children is a very prominent one. The subject of this article is to study the methods of social casework in redressing deviant behavior of the migrant workers’ minor children. This article expand the research through unstructured interview and field observation methods, it discussed the operating skills and put forward the corresponding policy recommendations.The framework of this article is roughly as follows:The first part puts forward the subject, that is, redressing deviant behavior of the migrant workers’ minor children, this paper discusses the background and significance of the subject, the key concepts involved in the article are defined This part also briefly expounds the theoretical basis of the study, including Ecological System Theory, Social Learning Theory and Strength Perspective Theory, and the study of research methods, including unstructured interview and non participant observation.The second part lists the main manifestations of deviant behavior of children of migrant workers, and its classification, but also explores the causes of deviant behavior generated.The third part is a practical analysis begins with the necessity and possibility of social work involved in this research, and then it briefly describe two operating modes of casework in practice which were mainly used, after that it analyzes a typical case which were operated by the author of the article and the application of the case work mode in the intervention process.In the fourth part the author puts forward some suggestions that related to the research issues.
