In recent years, badminton women’s doubles has always been a traditional golden projectin China. In this thesis, based on the inductive analysis on the game videos of the London2012Olympics badminton women’s doubles champion Zhao Yunlei、Tian Qing from thegroup stage to the final, their receiving method in the games and its development tendency areget; their outstanding technical characteristics are learned; the winning factors in receiving aregrasped; the techniques of high usage and success are found out and the rules are explored.All these are aimed at providing more positive assistant in the future badminton women’sdoubles’receiving practice.Based on the previous study, using literature study, video observation and mathematicalstatistics, the statistical analysis on the categories of receiving techniques, the distribution ofreceiving placements, the technical characteristics and the effects of receiving techniques inthe fore court and back court is conducted. The conclusions are drawn as the following:On the receiving techniques, women’s doubles mainly adopt drive, lofted shot, lungstroke and rushing in the fore court while clear and smash in the back court. Foreign playersmostly adopt passive techniques while the active techniques are rarely used. Chinese playersrarely adopt passive techniques while the active techniques are mostly used, what’s more,Chinese players’usage of smash are more often than the foreign.On the distribution of receiving placements, world top-ranking women’s doubles’ areintensively in No.4court followed by No.2and5courts. No.5and6courts belong tomid-court which is so-called mid-waist.The usage rates of hit techniques adopted by Zhao Yunlei、Tian Qing are not significantlydifferent. However, on lofted shot and smash their differences are significant. Smash is rarelyused by foreign players while lofted shot often. However, Zhao Yunlei、Tian Qing is just thereverse.Receive tactics because of its variability is large, there is a strong offensive and highlyregarded in the women’s doubles campaign. Push technology is the preferred process of thereturn of serve, followed by rubbing release technology. Doubles technology increasingly masculine, while also changing the direction toward thesteady development to the audience as the representative of the idea of oppression tight enhanced and more comprehensive enrich the inadequacies of technique and tactics, so that expertise into full play.
