A Research Of Current Situation And Countermeasures Of Kindergarten Intellectual Games

The “kindergarten working regulation”explicitly pointed out that, educationwork of kindergarten is with game for basic activities and it is emphasized again inthe new “kindergarten education guidelines(on a trial)”. This shows that the game inour preschool education is in the important position. Because game is the mainlymelody in children’s life and occupies most of time of the everyday life. It is also thebest way of children’s activities to conform to their physical and mental developmentcharacteristics.Intelligence is not the single ability but the integration of various abilities.Intelligence mainly has the following several meanings: First, the IQ scores. Second,the ability of abstract thinking. Third, potential ability of learning new knowledge.Forth, the ability to adapt to the new condition. Fifth, the ability of solving problemsand creating new things.Kindergarten game from the point of view of its education function, mainlydivided into creative game and regularity game. Regularity game is divided intointellectual games, music games and sports games. Intellectual games are good forchildren in exercising brain thinking and in ability to cooperate as well as hand-eyecoordination at the same time.This study adopts the methods of observation, text analysis and interview,selected three kindergartens in some city and picked one middle grade of eachkindergarten, a total of3classes. To research the situation of intellectual games, theauthor analysis the children’s physical and mental characteristics, game’s designing,material selection of operation, the settings of the game environment as well as theguidance of teachers. And according to the problems existing in the actualobservations, providing some targeted feasible guiding strategies.
