With the idea of updating the popularity of computer development and education,the traditional site of teaching chemistry laboratory experiment is restricted to protect andthe equipment maintenance, capital and other factors, began to appear bottleneck. Inorder to better understand the chemistry experiments for students to learn,the research ona chemistry-based multimedia and software virtual simulation laboratory began. VirtualChemistry Lab breaking the limitations of time and space.In this paper, chemical extraction of virtual simulation laboratory as a researchchemical reaction engines. Specifically on the relevant factual knowledge representationand knowledge of the relevant rules of the method of chemical reactions were studied, andbuild the appropriate knowledge base and rule base.In this paper, by means of chemical virtual simulation laboratory and theanalysis ofthe domestic and foreign existing, representative, found the chemical virtual simulationengine problems. In order to better play the role of chemical virtual simulationlaboratory, this paper will focus on the solutionchemistry virtual simulationengine problems research. design and implement a common, intelligent, scalable virtualhigh school chemistry simulation engine. The engine in the chemical reaction factualknowledge base and rule base as the core, including the instrument operation, thechemical reaction type determination, the chemical reaction process simulation of threemodules, instrument operation modules can be connected determines the relationshipbetween the instrument, get the current instrument assembly the relationship list, and todetermine the chemical condition of the position of each reaction vessel; first reactiontype determination module searches the database of chemical reaction equation, if notretrieved, it can be judged by the nature of the reactants, the principle of the rule base tomatch the chemical reaction determine whether they can react to obtain product and trimequations after; chemical reaction process simulation modules for process reactions in thereaction rate, the amount of material and temperature changes the calculation method,and product storage location can determine, reaction phenomenon appears. Finally,based on the engine module research, the realization of the engine, and the results of theanalysis.
