Along with our country education from exam-oriented education to qualityeducation in the process of advancing, the provinces across the country have started thenew curriculum reform. mathematics which is traditional discipline have no doubtreceivd the attention.“compulsory education curriculum standard” has been proposed in2001and “thestandard” was revised in2011. But no matter what kind of reform, it isimportant for cultivation of ability and the use of mathematics in the life practice andstudents’ autonomous learning of mathematics. The former Soviet union famououseducation practitioners Cyxomjnhcknn think “learning to learn, must first learn toread”, which shows the importance of reading. In recent years, the province ofexamination questions, which contains large amount of information, have a highrequirement on the students’ mathematics reading ability. therefore, it is necessary for usto strengthen the attention of mathematics reading. The junior middle school stage is acritical period of cultivating the ability of students’ mathematics reading. so it isnecessary to survey and research the current situation of mathematics reading for juniormiddle school students, it would find out the existing problems of mathematics readingand mathematics reading ability can be improved.In this article, through a large number of literature reading, survey, case analysis andfirst-line teachers communication methods to reveal the characteristics of mathematicsreading, connotation and external expression form, and surveying in the form of twodifferent schools of the students’ mathematics reading the status quo By usingquestionnaire. and then for data analysis, suming up the students’ mathematics readingthe status quo, finally, on the basis of the analysis of the situation, the author putforward the strategy of the train junior middle school mathematics reading ability.Through research,we got conclusion: mathematics reading is a process that thestudents read math data, understand and grasp the mathematical knowledge,comprehend mathematical methods and mathematical thinking, experience ofmathematics culture, appreciate the beauty of mathematics. Mathematics reading not only includes reading of mathematics textbooks, also includes science knowledgerelated to mathematics and reading extracurricular counseling information. The presentsituation of mathematics reading of the current junior middle school students is that alot of students understanding of mathematics reading is not enough, some students haveno consciousness of mathematics reading, there are also many students mathematicsreading is passive, and many students think their mathematics reading ability is poorbecause there is no master the correct method of mathematics reading. In order to solvethe problems existing in the junior middle school students in mathematics reading, I putforward the following five strategies: changing ideas, emphasis on reading; Guidelines,learn to read; Creating opportunities, training reading; Incentiving and promotingreading; Practicing feedback, intensiving reading. Let the students fully understand andrealized the importance of mathematics reading and take the initiative to blend inmathematics reading into classroom teaching. Through the combination of inside andoutside the classroom,putingforward the corresponding strategy is so as to cultivate thestudents’ mathematics reading ability.
