Gratitude, what is prevalent emotions and behavior. It has aprofound impact on the history of human development. Through the ages,in the traditional virtues of the Chinese nation, the thought of gratitudefirmly and silent to take root, germinate and blossom,It enriched theChinese traditional culture, influenced generations of Chinesepeople.Confucian culture is a master of Chinese civilization, of whichthe saturated with lots of the essence thought of gratitude. The thought ofgratitude can actively guide people to discover love and beauty of life,infuse the life with warmth and moved feelings, establish healthy andoptimistic life attitude and value orientation. As the embodiment ofspiritual civilization and individual basic principles, with gratitudeawareness plays a very important role in the way that evaluates students’moral quality, cultivates and constructs the harmonious development ofsociety and citizen model. In the current reality, however, there are quitea number of pupils to ignore their parents support, disregard the teacher’steaching, ignoring social help. The phenomenon of "moral vacuum"should not be ignored.This essay tries to make the gratitude thoughts in the traditionalConfucian culture as the pointcut, by studying and managing the content,characteristics and values of confucianist thought of gratitude, and itspositive role on the contemporary students gratitude education aspects.The author encourages the families, schools and society can focus on thegratitude education of contemporary students, to inspire and guide thecontemporary pupils can understand what is grace, gratitude, kindnessand how to warm society with love.Part1, studying, concluding and arranging Kinds of gratitude to thetraditional Confucian culture with layer. Mainly has four levels: Fourmain contents from gratitude thoughts of the Confucian culture, main characteristics of Confucian culture in the gratitude consciousness,gratitude thoughts of the Confucian culture in contemporary value, andgratitude thoughts of duality in the Confucian culture.The authorexplains the gratitude and gratefulness implied in Confucianism and theimportance to learn from the essence.In the second part, the author makes a summary of the presentationof gratitude in primary education. Through the case interview we canknow about the current primary school students gratitude consciousnessand the present situation of the lack of gratitude education. And throughthe family, school, society and the group of the primary student, we makethe four dimensions reason analysis of primary students’lack of gratitude,thus we understand the necessity and realistic significance about gratitudeeducation of the primary school students.In the third part, there are some suggestions to help students developgratitude. It mainly includes three Measures: the main things is to teachthe primary school students about what the gratitude is when they arehaving class in school, reinvest the meaning of time for confuciangratitude education by families and society; If school can work withfamilies together, the power will be amazing. The author givessuggestions and strategies for the gratitude education of the students bythese three parts.
