| This paper is mainly about a research on the management qualities of head teachers of middle schools in the perspective of students’overall development."National Medium and Long-term Education Reform and Development Outline" issued by Chinese Ministry of Education attaches great importance to the students’overall development. With the developing of quality-oriented education, the students have significantly enhanced the knowledge and improved learning abilities. However the fact of students’overall development hasn’t come true. The experts all over the world have studied how to improve the management knowledge and abilities of head teachers in middle schools, but as for the study how to improve the management theory of middle school teachers in the perspective of students’overall development to inspire students developing in all aspects is less. This research analyze the problems and the reasons for the management qualities of improving students’overall development through analyzing the management qualities of middle school teachers and the students’overall development, in turn put forward the countermeasures on the weakness of management qualities of teachers in middle schools.This research puts196head teachers in eight middle schools as the sample. It analyze the following aspects with the literature method, questionnaire method and interview method:(1) The current situation of management qualities of head teachers in middle schools;(2) The current situation of the training and self-developing of the head teachers in middle schools;(3) The relationship between management qualities of head teachers and students’overall development.Considering the above aspects, it is easy to draw the conclusion that (1) The level of anagement qualities of head teachers is ordinary. The management abilities of head teachers belongs to the best level, while the tender regards the weakest. The head teachers teaching different subjects and the teachers with different degrees have no significant differences in management qualities, whereas the ones with different schools and titles have significant differences.(2) The level of training to middle school teachers is low. All three dimensions belong to the low level.(3) The management qualities of middle schools and the students’overall development related remarkably based on0.01level, which means the management qualities of middle schools play an extremely important part on the overall development of middle school students.Based on the analysis above, it is suggested that (1) Chinese Ministry of Education and schools should build the evaluating system on the management qualities of middle school teachers, strengthen the knowledge training of the activities management and management evaluation, provide the convenience to improve the head teachers’management qualities;(2) Chinese Ministry Of Education and schools should strengthen the training theories of the head teachers’management qualities, provide the practical training content, give the training to head teachers by different kinds of means;(3) The head teachers should strengthen the management emotion by themselves. |
