| Pregame practice generally lasts for6-8weeks before the competition. The arrangement of pregame practice time, goals, contents, and drills is dependent on the full year practice plan and long term practice plan. Sufficient pregame practice plan can help players staying in the good shape. Therefore, it is meaningful and important to carry out the study on elite athletes’pregame trainings.Zhou Chun Xiu is the one of the best Chinese marathon athletes, who won the bronze medal in2008Beijing Olympic Games. By summarizing his her pregame training plan and practice, the outcomes of the study can provide more statistics and practices for improving performance of Chinese marathon athletes.The author followed Zhou Chun Xiu’s pregame training for2008Olympic Games. According to the long term training plan, the author analyzed the arrangement of training phases, training loads,and training methods. The athlete’s physiological indexes were evaluated according to the features of the sport of marathon as well.Results are as follow:1.the phase of pregame practice lasted45days, can be divided to flat phase and peak phase.2. Hb, BUN, and CK were changed regularly following the difference of training load. Hb was comparatively low, BUN and CK were enhanced after heavy load.3. the practice methods were mainly consistent training, interval training, change of speed training, and gradual increase of loads.4. As for training loads control, there were level2and level3in the flat phase, and level2and level4in the peak phase.5. pregame training includes4weeks altitudes training and2weeks plain training. The game related intensive practices were in the first week of plain training.6.varied training drills were implemented for the athlete. There were consistent practice, interval practice, change of speeds, and gradually enhancing physical loads.7. Physical loads and repetitions were enhanced at the same time, the change of loads and repetitions were like character "W" Sport-related skills and fitness were improved as well. Hb, BUN, CK and morning pulse of the athlete changed with different training loads.9. BUN and CK were sensitive to the training loads and repetition, which stayed in a relatively high level in a week before the game.10. Altitudes practice influenced on the athlete’s morning pulse, which increased in2-3days after the practice. |
