An Investigation Into The Current Situation Of The Learning Burnout Issue Of Middle School Students And The Countermeasures Against This Problem

With a deeper research on the “burnout” topic conducted by psychologists, more andmore educators pay a closer attention to the effect of learning burnout on students.According to preliminary research, learning burnout can be defined as a psychologicalstate of the students under learning pressure, specifically it indicates a state of bothphysical and mental fatigue of the students who are not able to relieve the learning pressureor deal with the learning setback effectively. Hence, in order to conduct a deeperdiscussion about the current situation of the learning burnout problem of middle schoolstudents, the research on the learning burnout issue was carried out. In this research,200students from grade1,2and3were selected randomly as the research object and testedusing the “A test form of the learning burnout situation of middle school students” formwhich was made originally. The test results indicate that:(1) there is no significantdifference in learning burnout between female and male students;(2) the middle schoolstudents from different grade reveal significant diversity in terms of learning burnout,specifically the students from grade1have a bigger possibility to experience learningburnout problem than those from grade2and3;(3) learning achievements have asignificant effect on the learning burnout of middle school students, and the students of lowmarks have a bigger potential to experience learning burnout problem than those with highmarks.In addition, this research analyzes the cause of the learning burnout problem ofmiddle school students in terms of students, teachers, schools, families and societies etc.and puts forward relevant measures and methods to help solve the learning burnoutproblem of middle school students such as developing learning interests; buildingambitious goals; optimizing course structures; enhancing learning efficiency; forming healthy learning atmosphere in campus; creating well learning area at home; guaranteeingstable learning environment in society etc.
