Because of the new curriculum reform in Jiangsu Province, it has become difficult forchemistry teachers to fulfill their teaching task in the limited time. Therefore, chemistryteachers have to pay more attention to accomplishing their task rather than consider how toimprove teaching quality. Chemistry lesson gradually becomes heavy, long, and lessinteresting lesson.This thesis carries on the research and practice on how to make high school Chemistrylesson become interesting. By illustrating the relevant theories at home and abroad, andcombining them with author’s researching practical experience, the author put forwardteaching strategies, which can be used to make high school Chemistry lesson becomeinteresting.The strategies as follows:1.To make chemical experiment full of interest so as to arouse students’ interest inlearning chemistry, the author will illustrate experiment importance in chemistry teachingchiefly by means of the three experimental groups: the experimental group, investigatingexperiment and interesting experiments.2.To stimulate students’ interest in chemistry learning,and attract students’ attention,the author encourages teachers to use multimedia in class. In this chapter the author carrieson the study on how the flash, video, multimedia, courseware,object projection affectclassroom teaching.3.The author advocates teachers to increase students’ interest in chemistry learning byusing chemical idioms,riddle, personification, metaphor, rhetoric, associative method, and connectschemistry with our life. Research shows that making chemistry classroom teaching interesting not onlyincreases teaching progress but also enables students to have more time thinking,practicing and exploring.
