The development ofmarine sports culture is an important part of China’s marine strategy. How to effectivelyintegrate building a marine power with building a sports power and to create a new areapossessing marine culture and sports culture become a innovation both in marine field and sportsfield.The city of Rizhao, as the eastern coastal open city, with its particular favorablegeographical environment, good ecological environment, rich kinds of water sports, and leisureresources on the water, has provided favorable advantages and supports for the development ofocean sports culture. Although in recent years the economic developed at a high speed, but theocean sports culture industry is developed very slowly. The small size of the industry, the weaktransmit strength, the imperfect management system, the lacking of professional managementpersonnel have directly influenced and hindered the development speed of ocean physical cultureindustry in Rizhao. This is a problem that we need to pay more attention in it.
