Entering the21st century, ageing of the population on a global scale has caused wide concern.Based on30years of family planning in China’s national conditions, and current problems of agingpopulation in China is increasingly prominent. Due to the large proportion of China’s rural populationand, therefore, how to deal with the phenomenon of ageing of the population in rural areas and itsproblems become important research questions of population in China. Discuss rural causes, impacts andcountermeasures of population aging, with important theoretical Guide and practical significance.Firstly, by reading a lot of relevant literature, synthesis of abroad study on population ageing hasbeen productive, combed through the status quo of population ageing research in China, a clear grasp ofrelevant concepts and definitions concerning the ageing of the population, thereby laying the theoreticalfoundation and supporting papers.The subject matter of this article, follow the characteristic defining the problem and its causes,impact analysis issues, explore the strategies to solve the problem of ideas for research. Starting from theaging population status and trends in Shandong province, Gaomi city, Shandong province, and issuesspecific to population ageing and the situation of older persons living in rural areas, by investigating thestreet survey of data, as well as visits to the Township to get data about the living conditions of theelderly, as a basis for research. Based on these data reflect, papers on rural ageing for social impact,further analysis the existing problems. Finally, Gaomi city of Gaomi and ageing of the ruralpopulation-related policies, and explored the countermeasure and suggestion of Gaomi City response topopulation ageing, which got the paper’s conclusions. Specifically included to ease labour pressures, improving labour productivity, perfecting rural old-age service system; to develop rural economy.
