In the process of city development, the country has emerged a large number of migrantworkers, the attendant problem is the education of migrant workers‘children.The large number ofgroups, personal quality is low, the cultural level is not high, poor family conditions, came to cityfrom village in order to increase the family income. In addition, the cost of livingaround the city center schools is high, and it’s too hard to study in the city center schools. Most ofthe groups only choose the third ring road even more remote places to live. While thesuburban primary school generally located in the third ring road, more remote location, the lowercost of living, admission condition is simple, that just meet the demand of migrant workers. But thesuburban primary school students are mostly from the migrant worker family, so the informationliteracy of the students relatively backward. Chengdu Sanhe primary school, which is a school tothe migrant children as the main source, also has the problem above. In the informationsociety, urban and rural areas need to develop, the education should be integrated.Therefore, improving the teachers’ and students’ information literacy in the primary school isimportant.Using practice and investigation methods, this study describes the evolution of the concept ofinformation literacy, content structure, theoretical basis, significance of training. Through theinvestigation and analysis, it analyzes the children of migrant workers as the main source of studentsin public elementary school students information literacy status and the reasons for the formation ofthis situation. Then aiming at these problems, analyzed fromthe school, teacher, student, parents etc..Finally, on the basis of this, proposed for such elementarystudents’ information literacy training coping strategies based on the actual situation of these schools,including all aspects of the subjective, objective elements, and the actual case to illustrate theeffectiveness of the strategy.
