A Study On The Developmental Difficulties Of The Elderly Day Care Service A Case Of D Community In Kunming

In the21st century, China is facing the rapid acceleration of the aging process. Huge, rapid development, structural imbalance and aging ahead of the modernization,these aging features are increasing the burden of our country in substantive level. But traditional single pension model can not meet the elderly’s pension demand. In recent years, after a trial in most of the country, the introduction of day care service center for community elderly has no doubt injected fresh blood into the development of China’s endowment engineering, and also has eased the pension pressure to some extent. But as there are many constraints and limitations, the process of implementing this pension model in Kunming is unsmooth, and leading the development of such elderly service agencies to struggling condition. In this research,author will use the fieldwork datas which based on information collected from the elderly day care service center in D community of Kunming city, and through the SWOT analysis method, to see the opportunities and strengths, threats and weaknesses that this center owned and faced, and the analysis work will be focused on the plight of the institutions’ development and the difficulties that the day care services suffered to service the elderly,and how to use the resources and find path to deal with the plight will be discussed. Finally, combined with the plight situation of the D elderly day care center faced with, the author will respond to the community care theory,discuss the theoretical use of third-parly management and study the adaptation model in the context of China’s domestic.
