| Aimed at the problems of lacking in learning interest and initiative of ruralstudents together with the analysis of problems such as students’ autonomouslearning ability, interaction ability, the ability to solve the problem and lackof the cultivation of students1learning interest, the author attempts to applythe attempting teaching methodology to rural middle school mathematicsclassroom, hoping to aid students getting rid of traditional passive studyway. Therefore, teachers and students can work in a passionate and challenginglearning atmosphere by thinking, analyzing, investigating the encounteredproblems in the teaching practice. In the common activities, they can come up withsolutions, methods and their point of views. Based on the attempting teachingmethodology, we try to ar’ouse the students study interest,improve their studyhabits and ability, and accumulate the teaching experience to lay the foundationfor the future of education and the sustainable development of professional.The article first of all deals with the occurring problems during the processof the attempting teaching methodology application such as class room timeinsufficiency, differences in ’students habits and abilities, diversities injunior high school teachers’ teaching methods and concepts. Then the article putsforward some practical solutions and measures such as adjusting the teachingmethods of the attempting teaching methodology, adjusting the teach*er s role inthe teaching process as well as the guidances for students. Base on the analysisof traditional classroom together with the questionnaire surveys of students andparents, the comparisons of ’students academic scores before and after theapplication of the attempting methodology, we can conclude that this methodologyhas obvious positive influences on the cultivation of autonomous learningabilit’y, students involvement in classroom, student’s study interest, academicachie’vement and the change of teacher s role in teaching process.The significance of the study is to further clear encountered problems in thepractice of the attempting teaching methodology and puts forward the possiblesolutions. Meanwhile, due to the objective phenomena in the process of teaching,external conditions have been found in the application of the attempting teachingmethodology. the creation of attempting questions by teachers, the quality ofstudents’ assignments the teachers’ classroom control ability and parent-schoolcooperative in the process of implementation, etc... |
