| With the progress of times and development of science and technology, modern teaching methods, which more and more teachers are trying using in the process of teaching research and reform, are gradually replacing the traditional ones. Situational teaching method is currently widely used and promoted. With its widespread availability, it is applied in teaching of various subjects, especially in foreign language teaching. Among many different kinds of teaching methods, teachers need to make proper choices. Meanwhile, students of different ages and different learning abilities are suitable for different teaching methods.This paper collects research on the study of situational teaching methods by now and its application to summarize the research problems considering personal practical research situation. At the same time, this paper describes the application of situational teaching methods and some related creative teaching practice and their effects.As a result, the data collection and analysis shows the effects of using situational teaching methods in teaching. At last, we discuss how to improve the practice of situational teaching methods and describe the advantages and solutions to the possible disadvantages to make best use of the method with consideration of the characteristics of vocational school students. |
