According to their own experience, math teachers, parents and students found that students in the junior school (grades1-6) and senior school (grades7-9) have some problem in the connection of mathematical learning. Because of the poorly preparation, or students are not adapt to the changes in the "quality" and "quantity" of Grade7’s mathematical knowledge, mathematical learning exists all kinds of the difficulties, obstacles, and the plight of started, will affect the students’confidence in learning mathematics, it is also affect their expectations of the studying life, premature formation of students weariness, and it will very unfavorable for the entire secondary education. Therefore, it is very necessary to research how students can do the better connection of mathematics learning in the transition period, and how math teachers help students learn to adapt to the "new" strategy for mathematics learning.Based on the literature we studied, to physical and mental development theory, observational learning theory, mastery learning theory, cognitive structure migration theory as the theoretical foundation to study the students’of7grade how to treat the junior high school math, how to learn senior school math, as well as whether the teachers in upper class and lower class are ready to help students complete the problems of connection between grades six and seven and other related issues.Research finding the following questions about students’learning in mathematics connection between junior and senior school:(1) Subjective knowledge is not accurate enough.(2) Mathematics study consciousness is not high.(3) The way of learning mathematics is not formed.(4) Lack of independent thinking, etc., because the learning objectives are not clear, and lack of active learning initiative, it leads to the problem of students’connection of math learning in junior and senior school.To solve the above problems, the teacher in teaching should be done:(1) more communication with students after class.(2) Pay more attention to individual differences.(3) Use more selectable media for teaching. Students in teaching should be done:(1) Looking for their own learning methods.(2) Exert more subjective initiative.(3) Develop the habit of independent thinking.(4) Learning the transfer of knowledge.
