As one of the ten core concepts put forward in the "Compulsory Education Mathematics Curriculum Standard(2011 Edition)","operational ability" is also one of the main training objectives of teachers' teaching in the compulsory stage,which has attracted much attention from the basic education circle.At present,in the process of learning mathematics operation in junior high school,the knowledge points of learning become more and more complex,which makes some students have learning difficulties in mathematics operation.Some teachers will simply attribute arithmetic learning difficulties to "carelessness",which will lead to the failure of adopting strategies to achieve significant effects on arithmetic learning difficulties.In the study of junior middle school math operation learning difficulties,most scholars start from the perspective of teaching status quo,teaching problems and teaching strategies,and provide ways to improve junior middle school students' math operation learning difficulties.However,the lines depicted by the path are still thick,and there is still a certain distance for specific guidance teachers to deal with difficulties in learning mathematical operations in daily teaching.This study takes the seventh grade as an example to explore the teaching improvement path of mathematical operation learning difficulties.The research questions are as follows :(1)What are the difficulties for seventh grade students in mathematical operation learning?(2)How to classify these operational learning difficulties?(3)What are the effective teaching strategies?(4)How to combine teaching strategies to design the teaching of typical mathematical operation learning difficulties?To be specific,the research steps of this study are divided into four stages :(1)Summarize the relevant studies of scholars on junior middle school math learning difficulties through literature analysis.(2)Through the analysis of works,the knowledge points of mathematical operation learning difficulties of Grade 7 students were sorted out,and the knowledge points were divided into two categories according to the literature review,and the corresponding coding tables were compiled and analyzed.(3)Semi structured interviews were conducted with five front-line teachers to make a summary table of the interview results,and the interview results were combined with literature research to sort out and put forward strategies for junior middle school mathematical operation learning difficulties.(4)Combined with previous research,typical learning difficulties were selected to carry out teaching design.The main results of the study are as follows :(1)There are 68 knowledge points that cause the students' mathematical operation learning difficulty in seven years.(2)According to the literature,the types of learning difficulties in junior middle school mathematical operations are divided into four categories: "conceptual understanding","understanding calculation","simple operation" and "comprehensive operation".Through data analysis,the incidence of learning difficulties in comprehensive operation class is significantly higher than that in concept understanding,simple operation class and understanding calculus class.The correlation between some difficult points with high error amount is significant,showing positive strong correlation.(3)According to the results of semi-structured interviews with front-line teachers,the teaching strategies for learning difficulties in junior middle school math operations are summarized,which can be divided into four categories: "classroom introduction strategy","classroom teaching strategy","classroom incentive strategy" and "after-school management strategy".(4)According to the distribution of the number of errors in the difficult points of mathematical operation learning,the teaching design is carried out by selecting the "review lesson of multiplication formula".In the teaching design,some teaching strategies,such as the introduction of wrong questions from previous research,the explanation of calculation without skipping steps,and the creation of successful teaching strategies,are integrated.Instruction design combined with related teaching strategies provides an effective way to solve the difficulties in learning typical mathematical operations.
