Stanford university professor Shulman’s puts forward the concept of Pedagogical Content Knowledge in1986. This improvement triggered the scholars attention. Scholars in the subject teaching knowledge about the connotation, composition of a lot of research. In recent years, the Pedagogical Content Knowledge research continuously combined with specific subjects. The main problem of this study include: the composition of the kindergarten teachers’ teaching of music knowledge, kindergarten teachers’ current teaching of music knowledge.This study defines the music pedagogical content knowledge as music subject knowledge conversion in the application of teaching form. Through to the related research literature, combining with the characteristics of the kindergarten music teaching activities, this study determine the kindergarten teachers’ music pedagogical content knowledge includes the target of music activities, knowledge of learning and teaching of specific music works, and knowledge of teaching situation. The target of music activities including feelings and appreciation, expression and creation. Knowledge of learning and teaching of specific music works including student understanding of knowledge, knowledge of the content organization, effect of feedback and the teaching strategy of knowledge. Knowledge of teaching situation including classroom management, interactive strategy of knowledge.This study selected the26kindergarten teachers as the research object, by adopting the combination of quantitative research and qualitative research methods.26teachers has carried out26kindergartens music activities. Through the structured observation method, for kindergarten teachers music PCK level were measured, the results showed that:(1) the kindergarten teachers’ music PCK overall level as "excellent", The target of music activities level for "good", Knowledge of learning and teaching of specific music works levels as "excellent", and "excellent" for the situational knowledge level.(2)There is no significant difference between the Zhejiang and Jiangsu provinces kindergarten teachers music PCK level. And the target of music activities, Knowledge of learning and teaching of specific music works and situational knowledge show no significant difference.(3) The teacher’s PCK levelof the music appreciation activities were significantly higher than that of group dance; And between other types of music activities, PCK level show no significant difference. Teacher’s PCK of group dance activities were significantly lower than the overall teachers’ PCK level, and there is no significant difference for other music activities. Combination of data and the transcribe of kindergarten music activities, the study have the quantitative analysis for kindergarten teachers music PCK level, and summarizes kindergarten teachers’ music PCK characteristics.The study has summarized the principle of high quality PCK of kindergarten music activities--that’s back to children.
