Dynamic geometry software effective application in teaching is currently a hot researchtopic. The existing research mainly focus on the function of the software itself to research anddevelopment and its application value in the classroom teaching two aspects, and not toconsider the research from the perspective of students.One of the obvious differences of class quality, is whether the students’ attention can beconcentrated in the classroom teaching content in a certain time or not. As an indispensabletool in modern teaching, dynamic geometry software is used to demonstrate geometric figuresfor aided teaching, and it has a certain influence on the students’ attention as well. Therefore,this paper will study the dynamic geometry software GeoGebra from the perspective of thestudents’ attention. First of all, we will study and analyze dynamic geometry softwareGeoGebra from the aspects of conscious attention, voluntary attention, selective attention, andhabituation, based on the related theory of cognitive psychology. And then make acomprehensive analysis, combining the function and characteristics of dynamic geometrysoftware GeoGebra with mathematical disciplines and students’ learning habits andcharacteristics. Finally, we will find out the main factors that will attract students to payattention to when we use dynamic geometry software GeoGebra during teaching, such asdynamic, color, measurement, operability, etc.This paper studies the influence of dynamic geometry software GeoGebra on student’sattention. Firstly, it is an extension of research on the application value of dynamic geometrysoftware GeoGebra. Secondly it will make teachers fully understand dynamic geometrysoftware GeoGebra and its influence factors of students’ attention. In classroom teaching, theteacher can use dynamic geometry software GeoGebra more reasonable and effective, attractthe attention of students to classroom teaching content better, in order to optimize theteaching effect and improve the teaching quality.
