At present, the teaching for Junior Middle Information Technology Curriculumemphasize knowledge memory and operation training, it ignores the understanding, lacking ofthe deep-seated mining of the knowledge.At the same time, excessive technical orientationand loss of situational teaching is the current outstanding problems."Understanding" is therequirement of the times, it has always been considered to be the important value ineducation,only the students truly understand, they can flexibly apply it to new situations.Nomatter what type of curriculum, we should pay attention to the teaching and learning forunderstanding.Therefore, this study aimed at the problems existing in the primary school scienceteaching, study on how to promote students’ understanding of science. In this study (design)by the theoretical research and empirical research of application (experiment). Drawingunderstanding teaching theory and practice of research, combined with small subject sciencecurriculum of basic idea and goal, this article theoretically constructed the basic model ofelementary school science understanding teaching, including the goal determination ofunderstanding, understanding of standards and evaluation, learning activities of theorganization, understand the learning evaluation of five parts. Next apply the pattern to theelementary school science grade three part ii the second unit "the life of the plants in thecomprehension teaching design, and through the application of experimental test and discussthe effect of comprehension teaching science in primary schools. Application experimentresults show that:1. The comprehension teaching can help improve students’ science learning attitude;2. Understanding the teaching helps to develop student’s scientific cognition, promote thetransformation of the concept of students’ science, caused the deep understanding of students;3. Understanding teaching helps to change teachers’ teaching concept, improve teachers’teaching design ability.
