An Intervention Study On Sports Education Promotes Secondary Vocational Students’ Mental Health

Physical Exercise and Mental Health Movement has always beenconcerned about the content, how to improve the sports curriculumto promote mental development has become a widely discussedissue. In recent years, through the study of students’ mental healthintervention tentative curriculum reform is in the development stage,but are more focused on college students, the study oversimplified.In this study, Hohhot Vocational School of MechanicalEngineering, for example, the tentative search for effective andrational curriculum reform model, the results showed that:1.Before the intervention, boys were significantly higher thangirls on the knowledge dimension and behavior dimension, but nosignificant difference on faith dimension.Moreover, the boys weresignificantly higher than the girls on the KAP scores; Theexperimental group and control group have no significant differenceon the knowledge dimension, faith dimension, behavior dimensionand KAP scores. In addition, in the survey study, the mental healthof secondary vocational students is well on the whole, but thestudents of mental health problem at the moderate level arenumerous. This also reflected from the side the contemporaryeducation has ignored students’ mental problems.2.After the intervention, the experimental group and the controlgroup have no significant difference on the knowledge dimension,while significantly higher than control group on faith dimension,behavior dimension and KAP score, that is, the experimental groupand the control group exist significant differences on KAP scoreafter the intervention. Compared with the control group, mentalimprovement of the experimental group is more obvious. Combinedwith the conclusions of qualitative research at the same time, it reveals that the sports education can effectively promote thedevelopment of students’ mental health by improving conditions ofthe students’ physical exercise.Therefore, in the educational process, educators should correctand reasonable treatment on growth and healthy development ofstudents’ psychological problems in observation, discovery,forensics, investigate, judge, analyze students’ mental changesshould carefully consider every aspect, both practical problems thatalready exist, neither subjective faire, can not be too enlarge. To thespirit of the students useful as a starting point and end point to carryout targeted educational methods and content.
