This study surveys current situation and problems of primary beginning teacherinduction in each region of Chongqing, so as to analyze the cause of this situation andput forward the countermeasures to improve the current induction of beginningteacher. Findings of this study can timely solve the problem in professionaldevelopment, and can highly meet the professional development needs of beginningteachers, which help novice teachers to transit smoothly, and reduce the loss rate ofbeginning teachers, and improve teacher retention rate. At the same time, it has vitalsignificance in promoting the development of primary beginning teacher andimproving the local school education teaching level.In order to achieve the purpose of the study, the questionnaire survey method andinterview survey method are adopted from the following seven dimensions: inductionbasic situation, purpose and value orientation, the content, the mode of induction,evaluation and the training effect, the views and suggestion to the beginning teacherinduction. Through the analysis of these seven dimensions, we can find the issues ofcurrent primary beginning teacher induction and analyze the reasons for the issues soas to put forward the countermeasures.The thesis is divided into five parts:The first part introduces the research background, and according to thedimensions above to discuss the development of domestic and foreign new teachers. Italso briefly explains the research significance in theory and practice, which is anecessary preparation for the theoretical topics.The second part is the research design, which defines the core concepts, explainsthe purposes, content, methods, structures important points and difficult points of thisresearch.The third part adopts questionnaire method to collection data and materials of thesituation and problems of the primary beginning teacher induction in Chongqing.The fourth part adopts interview to dig the meaningful information and firsthandmaterial so as to find its cause of the primary beginning teacher induction in Chongqing.The fifth part puts forward the improvement measures to solve the problems inprimary beginning teacher induction.
