| During the teaching procedures of English, the students with learning Englishdifficulty have been the hard problems to lots of English teachers. The students withlearning English difficulty have many disabilities in many aspects. They have poorerideological and behavior, lower grades, slower development of intelligence. The generationof students with learning English difficulty is a kind of disharmony response in thestudents’ development among the process of socialization. Leading and promoting eachstudent’s harmony and healthy development is the task of education and the duty of ourteaching staff.In order to prevent and reduce the students with learning English difficulty, weshould do a good job in transforming them. In this way, we can improve the quality ofEnglish teaching, and students’ quality. We can also help them cultivate a good habit oflearning and have strong ability of self-studying.However, the first step of transformation is to understand them. The standard forEnglish of compulsory education (New) points that education should face all the students.The paper focuses on the students with learning English difficulty in the middle school ofXX Area. It deeply researches the reason of the students with learning English difficultyand analyzes their personalities. On this basis, it also proposes the specific strategies byusing the appreciation educational idea.Appreciation education pays attention to consciousness, respects education laws thesubjective spirit of students, emphasizes on life and children’s developmentcharacteristics,with reasonable and scientific,effective and necessity, and fits to thecurrent of the times, accepted by many educators. But with the development ofappreciation education,it was criticized.Recognition of the appreciation education effectbeing questioned,while what was the fact of the appreciation education? What was the realeffect? The previous studies focused on theoretical analysis,lack of empirical research.Therefore this paper tries to understand the current situation of appreciation education through the research on the transforming the students with learning English difficulty byusing the appreciation education.The paper includes five chapters. First, it proposes that the students with learningEnglish difficulty eagerly need to be improved, and it also summarizes the research reviewof Learning disabilities and Appreciation education. Chapter Two explains the conceptionof Learning disabilities and analyzes the causes of the students with learning Englishdifficulty in the rural middle schools in XX Area. Chapter Three analyzes the main featuresof the students with learning English difficulty. Chapter Four states the basic spirits ofAppreciation education. Chapter Five summarizes the specific implementationrequirements and tactics about how to transform the students with learning Englishdifficulty by using the Appreciation education.The author regulates many research methods. There are lots of examples whichcome from the true experience in the author’s teaching career. The paper also proposes thestrategies to help the effectiveness of students’ development. At the same time, itconstructively points that educators should pay more attention to the “prevention†and“improvement†instead of “describingâ€,“correction†and “compensationâ€. When weimplement the Appreciation education, we should both appreciate the degree ofappreciating and use educational wisdom to cultivate the good mentality of the studentswith learning English difficulty.
