The present study tries to get classroom games back to the high grades by usingthe teaching methods of the experimental class and the control class, to studywhether classroom games can improve the learning motivation in high grades. Lotsof proper games which can adjust the pupils physiologically and mentally are putinto the experimental class, while few games are in the control class. After a term’sexperimental teaching, the author analyzes and studies the questionnaires before andafter the experimental teaching. The result shows the learning motivation and thelearning achievement of the experimental class are improved, respectively inthe learning objectives, attribution, learning task, the structure of classroom, learningattitude and learning anxiety. So we can come to this conclusion, in the high gradesin primary school, classroom games can still improve the students’ learningmotivation in some aspects, so as to improve the learning achievement. The authorhopes that, through the experimental study in this paper it can provide a basis andreference for the primary school English teachers to choose a high stage in theclassroom teaching and constructing effective classroom teaching mode.There are six parts in this study. In the first part, it talks about the reason tochoose this topic, the research meaning and the research background. In the secondpart, it focuses on the purpose of the research, the targets of the research, the tools ofthe research, the study methods, the experimental teaching process, data processingand analysis. In the third part, the author will analyze the results of the researchand the questionnaire. Then the author will give some advice. The fifth part is theresult of the research. The last part, the author discusses the innovations andinadequacies of the research.
