Research On Thrift Education Of Contemporary College Students

To practice thrift is one of the Chinese traditional virtues. It is not only the essential moral accomplishment to a person’s success, but also the spirit of quality to a country’s long-term development. However, in recent years, with the development of reform and opening up and the continuous improvement of the socialist market economy, People’s material life level and consumption level have been greatly improved than before. The traditional virtues of thrift is gradually ignored by people,especially for the pure consumer groups of college students.This will not only hinder the development of college students, but also affect the state and social’s sustainable development. Therefore, it’s essential to discover the insufficiencies and strengthen the effectiveness of thrift education to college students.This article is divided into four parts, the first part expounds the thrift education connotation, characteristics and the necessity of college students; The second part analyzes the contemporary college students frugal anomie behavior and its negative impact by questionnaire methods; The third part expounds the problems and causes of thrift education; The fourth part discusses the countermeasures of strengthening thrift education to college students from four aspects:social, college, family and students themselves.
