The Research On The Constuction Of Indepedent Instutes’ Teaching Staff In Shaanxi Province

Independent colleges were founded in the late1990s. In the past ten years, the number ofindependent colleges has increased from18to309. The number of independent collegestudents has been2,670,000, which takes20%in the total number of students in Chinesehigher education. Independent colleges have become a kind of rapidly rising force in the fieldof Chinese higher education and have played a positive role in promoting the popularizationof higher education. Although the independent colleges have obtained certain achievementboth in quantity and on scale, some problems are also accumulated in the process of the rapiddevelopment. One of the most prominent is that with the expansion of enrollment, theteaching quality can not be guaranteed. To ensure the teaching quality, the faculty’sdevelopment and organization are badly needed, which has already been proposed in thenational medium-and long-term development programs on education (2010-2020).This theses is based on the reality of the construction of teaching group of independentcolleges in Shaanxi province, according to the latest educational policy, on the basis oflearning from the other research results, we abandoned the disadvantage of the obsoleteconcepts, according to the policy and social need we explain the importance and necessity ofstrengthening the construction of teaching group of independent colleges in Shaanxi provincefrom a new perspective. The orientation of the teaching group construction of independentcolleges in Shaanxi province concluded that, the construction of teaching group ofindependent colleges in Shaanxi province must give overall consideration and deal with allaspects of relationships, and it is not only depended on the government tocreate a favorable environment, but also depended on the inner environment escorting for theconstruction of teaching group, and proposing reasonable proposals for it.
