MTI in China has undergone rapid development since its establishment in2007. Now159universities and colleges recruit MTI program students. However, MTI program is stillin the exploration phase, which means more researches need to be conducted on it. As anMTI Conference Interpreting student, the author tries to study the curricula of the programand give suggestions, in the hope of improving the curricula and raise the students’satisfaction. This research investigates MTI Conference Interpreting curricula and thetrainees’ satisfaction of Beijing Foreign Studies University (BFSU), Shanghai InternationalStudies University (SISU) and Guangdong University of Foreign Studies (GDUFS). Theauthor chooses MTI Conference Interpreting students of these three universities as theresearch subjects and distributes written questionnaires or online questionnaires to them.After that, the author tries to make a qualitative analysis on these materials with the help oftables. By summarizing the features of curricula of the MTI Conference Interpretingprogram and combining them with teaching theories and approaches, the author expects toprovide reference to curricula design and ways to raise trainee’satisfaction.
