In the context of new curriculum, mathematics textbook of senior high schoolbased on curriculum standards have changed a great deal.There is a big difference boththe general settings, versions and content selection, presentation, layout structure, theteaching method of teachers. It highlights principles of student-centered.Inaddition,textbook is not longer the only teaching resources and has been the most basicand important part of teaching resources.In order to conduct research on mathematicsteachers adapt to the new textbooks, this paper does research by using the methods ofliterature, questionnaire and interview.In the first place,this study based on the existing domestic and foreign research,characteristics of the new textbook in Senior High School and adaptability specificperformance of teachers to the new textbook defines the relevant concept, and fromthree dimensions that teachers’ understand and master to the new curriculum and newtextbook,the use of new textbook and reflection, evaluation and suggestions to the useof new textbook designed questionnaire.Moreover, researcher in order to understand theadaptability of high school mathematics teachers in Shanxi province to new textbookconducted a sample survey to the high school mathematics teachers in Linfen andXinzhou of Shanxi Province.Then,summary adaptation to the new textbooks of highschool mathematics teachers in Shanxi province,Correlation analysis between teachers’basic information and the adaption of new textbooks. Found adaptation of high schoolmathematics teachers to new mathematics in Shanxi Province is better, but not enough,teachers’ gender, age, teaching age, professional titles and time of use new textbooks hasnot influence on teachers adaption to new textbooks,the district has influence.Finally,summary the problem of adaptation,including the teachers do not fully understand newtextbooks; evaluation system to control adaptation to new textbooks ofteachers;teaching task, class is not enough; the inquiry teaching have some difficult; theteacher not fundamentally change teaching idea; The new textbook has someshortcomings.it proposes six suggestions for the existing problems.
