The Research On College Students’ Life Education In The Perspective Of Ideological And Political Education

The report of the eighteenth national congress of the communist party of Chinapoint out that:“we should set moral education as the fundamental task of education andcultivate comprehensive socialist builders and successors in the development of moral,intellectual, physical and aesthetical area”. College students are the importantcomponents of national talent resources. At present, the college students in China willbe the main force in building a well-off society in an all-round way and should shoulderthe great burden of the achievement of modernization. So the development of theirideological and moral qualities, scientific and cultural quality and health quality, areclosely related to the fate of our party and country; the success or failure of the cause ofsocialism with Chinese characteristics; and the goals to build a well-off society in anall-round way and the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. However, in recentyears, we can easily find in the media that college students always commit self-harm,suicide or even kill others. These cases have not only aroused the widespread concernof the whole society, but also highlighted the urgency and importance of collegestudents’ life education in colleges and universities. Therefore, this study has importanttheoretical and practical significance.This article includes four parts. The first part, the preface, mainly expounds thesignificance of the research, present research situation and development trend at homeand abroad, research ideas and methods, the innovation of the research, etc. The secondpart is the general overview of the ideological and political education and collegestudents’ life education theory. The author explores the connotation and purpose of theideological and political education, the meaning and characteristics of life, thedevelopment and the connotation of life education, the connotation and main content ofcollege students’ life education, the intrinsic relationships between the ideological andpolitical education and college students’ life education. The third part is about thecurrent problems and analysis of the college students’ life education. On the basis ofempirical research, the author puts forward the main problems of college students’ life education. The one is the college students lack a correct recognition of life and its value.The other is that there is a wide gap between life education in college and collegestudents’ demand. There are many reasons for such a situation, namely, teachers’ lack oflife education consciousness, the physical and mental characteristics of college students,the defects of life education in colleges and universities, the lack of life education infamily, and the impact of the network and other cultures. The fourth part, as the core ofthis thesis, is about the principles and effective ways in college students’ life educationin the perspective of ideological and political education. According to the presentsituation of the college students’ life education, the author points out that we shouldadhere to and abide by the human-oriented principle, practical principle, living principle,value principle, harmony principle in the development of college students’ lifeeducation. At the same time, the author explores the effective ways to strengthencollege students’ life education, including: strengthening the life value education ofMarxism, and improving the beauty of life and the entity; establishing and enhancingthe life education system to the effective permeability of life education; building a“trinity” of college students’ life education mechanism including society, university, andfamily to form a strong education resultant force.
