When the concept of “organizational culture” was first imported to China in the1980s,management circle deeply probed into the theory construction and practice innovation fromdifferent points of view, and the research area also extended from enterprises to government andsocial groups. In recent years, most research about sports organizational culture focus on suchgroups as sports administrative organization or civil society organizations, little research hasbeen done about sport team. Systematic study about organization culture of sport team is theobjective requirement for enriching the theory about athlete cultivation and that is the researchsignificance of this thesis.China’s national free styling aerials team was built in1991when skiing just started.Nineteen years is passed, and the team has overstepped world strong powers in only more than10years as a group, and has achieved the leap from nothing to something, from the weak to thestrong. At present, not only is the athletes’ personal performance at the advanced level in theworld, but also the group keeps the advantages for a very long time. The purpose of taking thisteam as the research object is to summarize and promote the successful organizational culturefactors of the team and to put forward some strategies to make its development sustainable.By means of the method of combining the theory and practice, the author, according to theorganization culture theory, investigates the national free styling aerials team, determines its17descriptive content factors of organizational culture, constructures the relationship modelbetween team organization culture and comprehensive competition strength, and confirms thatorganization culture helps enhance comprehensive competition strength. On this basis, the authorsurveys the present situation of the organization culture in national free styling aerials team,researches and summarizes the organization culture factors for the success of this team.Accordingly, the author holds that organizational culture should be promoted through suchaspects as system establishment, management personnel provision, team management learningby the coaches. In doing so, the author hopes to provide great support for the national free stylingaerials team so that it can keep advantages in competition and to offer experience for advancingthe sustainable development for the other high level sport teams in our country.
