A Research On The Patriotic Education Of College Students’ In New Times

Patriotism is a national eternal topic, as a historical category, it has a different theme andcontent in different periods of the development of social history. Patriotism education is apractical activity, embodies the basic principle and the principle of work of Ideological andpolitical education. Personnel training in the new period patriotic education of collegestudents in our country and socialist modernization construction plays an important role in.The history of China’s patriotic education of college students, made at a certain grade at thesame time, also must see some new problems and new situations appeared along with theprogress and development of the society, enhance the imminent patriotism education in thenew period.In this paper, the patriotic education of college students in the new period as the theme,starting from the theoretical connotation of patriotism education of college students, on thebasis of previous studies, the patriotism, patriotism and nationalism, patriotism education, thedifference between the patriotic education of college students in the new period, the patrioticeducation of college students and other concepts, and basic connotation the related conceptsare discussed in this paper, the research value of patriotism education in the new period. Theauthor based on the analysis of patriotism education background of college students in thenew era, by means of literature and questionnaire, we investigated600undergraduates of sixuniversities in Shaanxi Province, on the basis of investigation, summarizes the status ofpatriotism education in the new period, in the performance of patriotism education of collegestudents must at the same time, analysis of the new situation, new problems in today’s CollegeStudents’ patriotism education, and the defects of the patriotic education of college students:(1) the education goal is not clear enough;(2) the education content heavy historical reality;(3) education lack of diversity and interest;(4) students patriotic emotion and behavior isirrational characteristics;(5) the education security measures are not in place. In view of the above problems, the analysis of cause of influencing and restricting the patriotic education ofcollege students:(1) education and college students from the reality;(2) the content ofeducation behind the times;(3) the influence of traditional forms of education;(4) not oncollege students love the emotion and the behavior guidance attention (;5) the lack of securitymeasures to improve the. Empirical research and comprehensive analysis of the above theory,this paper puts forward five countermeasures of patriotic education of college students in thenew period:(1) according to the actual construction of multi-level educational objectives;(2)constructing education content of combining history education and practical education;(3)constructing the diversity and interesting combination form of education;(4) strengtheningthe patriotic emotion and behavior guidance;(5) improve the education and protectionmeasures.
