| This paper is on the basis of existing relational research, which regard the parents whose education benefits were disregardful in a long term as an entry point, to study parents’expectations of kindergarten.This research follows the basic norms and requirements and applys includes questionnaire survey method and interview method. This research aimed at understanding what is the characteristic of’a good kindergarten"in parents’ expectations,and to make the qualitiesof’a good kindergarten" in parents’ mind clear, then to provide some guidance for education administrators,education policy makers and teachers,and analyze the"a good kindergarten"of parents’ expectation whether reasonable,and make parents realize their existing problems and shortcomings.This study defines the relevant concepts in the paper, expounds the process and methods of the study, uses questionnaires survey to survey parents, and make a depth interview for partial parents. The results of this study are showed as follows. Firstly, the parents’expectation of kindergarten that ranked the top three respectively is the quality of teachers, child welfare of kindergarten, and environmental facilities of kindergarten. Secondly, parents also concern about the development of young childhood, the implementation of the curriculum and content, education management, homeland cooperation, and there are some parents have individual needs. At last, make a comparison about the good kindergarten in teachers’ mind and parents’ and analysis what kindergarten have done for parents’ expectation.The revelation of this study are as followed:firstly, the kindergarten how to become a "good" kindergarten of parents’ mind, kindergarten should respect parents’ correct parenting and exploit parents’ work widely and deeply, and kindergarten should pay attention to the differences between the parents’ expectation and strengthen the cultivation of teachers’ professional quality and ethics. The kindergarten should take multiple measures to mobilize the participation of homeland attach great importance to the creation of psychological environment. Kindergarten has an obligation to provide education support for parents. Secondly, parents should set up the correct educational concept, child rearing concept, and should pay attention to the all-round development of children. Parents have to deal with the relationship between young children’s social expectations and child care. The father and mother in the family should also assume the responsibility of parenting; parents should not only strengthen the communication with young children, but also enhance interaction and communication with early childhood hood teachers and should pay more attention to family education and strengthen their own learning.Parents should to accept pre-school education idea of "learning in play". The last is the reflection of this study. |
