With the development of information technology, Whiteboard is widelyused in the classroom through its great advantage and potentiality,as a modernteaching. The ‘Class Access to ICTs’ projects will develop the basic educationof the west erea into a new stage.This paper reviews the research of Interactive Whiteboard’s applicationand function first. Sum up the modern teaching aid fills up the shortage oftraditional education, with its easy manipulation, richness in content andmultiplicity in style. Besids the use of the aid can stimulate students’ interest,underline teaching points, and improve teaching efficiency. Through thequestionnaire and experimental research, the main conclusions are as follows:1.Mathematics teachers in rural middle-school can presents coursewarebasicly in the country middle school, but not skillfully in the tools of mediaand course, especially in designing and integrating resources by themselves.2. Application of Interactive Whiteboard can get attention and interest,stimulate intiative of students, which benefits understanding of mathematicalknowledge.Finally, the author puts forward the application strategy of that the ruralmiddle school should strengthen the construction of resources, theschool-based teaching research and the classroom application.
