Research On The Personal Morality Education Of The Contemporary College Students

With the deepened development of the reform and opening up, andthe progressive perfection of the socialist market economic systemhas to be perfecting gradually. As the special social groups,college students’ idea about personal morality has changed.Nowadays, problems for the disorder of college students’ personalmorality, to a great degree, may cause by lower effectiveness ofpersonal morality education. For this reason, this paper choosespersonal morality of college students as research object, usesliterature analysis，historical analysis and comparative analysisto study present condition of personal morality of the contemporarycollege students, and analyzes reason of the problem; At the endputs forward effective countermeasures.This paper includes six parties. The first part is introduction.It mainly summarizes the research situation at home and abroad forpersonal morality, illustrates research background and researchsignificance, research idea and method of morality education, someproblems to be solved.The second part is a summary for personal morality of collegestudents. Firstly, it illustrates profound meaning of personalmorality and personal morality of college students, identifies thedifference between personal morality and other related concepts. Next, it clarifies the historical context for moral educationthought between China and the West and gets inspiration from it,teases elaboration of moral education thought from Marxismclassical writers, expecting to get guiding ideology.The third part is the basic theoretical research of personalmorality education. It includes basic elements, educationalprocesses and effect of personal morality education. There areeducator, educational object, education features, goal, andcontent, education situation in personal morality education. Theprocesses of personal morality education include the process ofconscious activity and practical activity between educator andeducational object. It reflects two aspects about effects ofpersonal morality education, individual need and Social needs.Through the research of basic theory, we can grasp the connotationof personal morality education and carry out personal moralityeducation effectively.The fourth part is analysis of personal morality education ofthe contemporary college students. It discusses the currentsituation of personal morality education for college students,reviews the development history of personal morality education ofcollege students in our country, and expounds outstanding issuesof personal morality education. These problems mainly include unclear concept of personal morality education, insubstantialcontent and lack of communication between educator and educationalobject. And this paper deeply analyzes cause from four aspects ofsocial environment, college and family education, subjective needsof college students.The fifth part is countermeasure analysis of improving personalmorality education of college students. We should start with fouraspects of society, college, family and personal dimensions. In thesociety, we need to strengthen the rule of law, recreate greatatmosphere and establish reward and punishment mechanism; in thecollege, we need to improve the concept of personal moralityeducation, clear objective, enrich methods and broaden educationalchannel, build up the ranks of educators; in the family, we needto change the concept that intelligence education is more importantthan moral education and use scientific educational methods; on apersonal, we should pay attention to foster good moral cultivationfrom four aspects of moral knowing, moral feeling, moral will, moralbeliefs and moral behavior.The last part is conclusion of the paper.
