Narrative researches are activities of daily living in the current school-based research and personal professional development.Narrative life is part of the teachers’ whole life. The purpose of this study is to understand the primary school chinese teachers’ attitude of the narrative researches and the details of their narrative lives, finding their real reflections on the professional development of chinese teachers in primary schools. Through analyses of the narratives of a female teacher after80s in S Primary School of C City, the thesis showes the intricate facts of the narrative life of the primary school chinese teachers. Through the analyses, the thesis also hopes to provide a problem-solving approach. The sociological analyses show the influence of the relations of power and interests among the primary school chinese teachers, the administrative personnel and the experts giving guidance to the practice, to narrative researches and professional development of teachers. The psychological analyses reveal positive and negative emotions on narrative researches of the professional development.There are frustrations in positive emotions and realities in negative emotions. Finally, the main philosophical analyses are analyses of narrative language.The thesis points out the narrative researches narrate without research. The reason firstly is the lack of theoretical guidance and exploration and the scientific literacy is not high. Sencondly they do not have the insight and imagination; No spiritual but sensibility. The thesis then states the relationship of narrative research and professional development:It’s just one of the factors for professional development. There are a lot of choices for one’s research road. Finally, in order to promote the professional development of primary school chinese teachers better, the author, according to his knowledge background, proposes the idea of the introduction of cultural studies to the narrative researches. The thesis, in fact, has used some of the cultural studies approach consciously allthrough. The selection of a teacher for narrative research on primary school language teachers’ narrative life is the innovation of this thesis. Through narrative research, the teacher has both progresses and doubts in her professional development, reflecting the general mentality of the primary school chinese teachers. Hope that the thesis can contribute to thinking and exploration of the primary school chinese teachers and people paying attention to narrative researches.
