The Study About The Strategic Partnership Between China And Tajikistan

The change of the world after the cold war not only put forward a new task for China’s diplomacy but also created opportunities for the growth of China’s international influence.In this context, China has established different forms of partnership with many countries and regions in the world. Central Asian countries have established diplomatic relations with China since independence in 1992. Since then, China and the Central Asian countries have become increasingly close to each other. China and the five Central Asian countries have realized the transformation and upgrading of the strategic partnership by good neighbor relations from June 2011 to September 2013. The strategic partnership between China and Tajikistan is formed under this background.The mutual trust between China and Tajikistan has been increasingly strengthened, and cooperation in various fields has been further developed. A new model that establish a friendly diplomatic relations but nonaligned between China and Tajikistan has become a model for the relationship between China and the developing countries since the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Tajikistan 24 years ago. Strategic partnership between China and Tajikistan to maintain a good momentum of development.However there are still some uncertain factors and problems to be solved while the strategic partnership maintain a good momentum of development between the two sides.Such as the problem from Tajikistan that about to improve and deepen the partnership between China and Tajikistan etc.From the views of China,it’s very important to pay attention to solving the internal problems, constructing the exotic environment and coordinating the interests and responsibilities of the relevant countries in this region to promote the strategic partnership develop healthily between China and Tajikistan.The main body of this thesis is composed of four parts.:The first part,analyzing the time and regional background of the formation of the strategic partnership between China and Tajikistan. The change of the world pattern gave birth to China’s partnership diplomacy strategy after the cold war. In recent years, new trends in China’s peripheral diplomacy, new ideas and new initiatives to promote the rapid development of bilateral relations strategic and then the partnership came into being between China and Tajikistan;The second part, arranging the formation and development of the strategic partnership and showing from the establishment of diplomatic relations to a good neighbor and friendly relations and deepen the whole process of strategic partners between China and Tajikistan since 1992;The third part, discussing the development status and characteristics of the strategic partnership between China and Tajikistan that performance for a wide range of areas of cooperation, towards the mechanism of development direction, high and economic exchanges frequently, civil and cultural exchanges are weak, mutual trust and political demonstration of higher significance, etc;The fourth part, analyzing the main problems and solutions to the development of strategic partnership between China and Tajikistan, these problems come from the partners’ internal and external then China needs to maintain active.Central Asian countries are the important partners of China to build the Silk Road Economic Zone.Tajikistan is an important countries along the Silk Road, is China’s real good neighbors, good friends and partners. In the new historical starting point, China should cherish the friendship, trust and expectation from the people of Tajikistan, and strengthen the strategic coordination and cooperation between the two countries, and give play to the role and value of the strategic partnership between China and Tajikistan.
