Strength Perspective In The Community Correction

Strength perspective is a new thinking mode for social work, which focus on their personal and environmental advantages. Community correction under the strength perspective community correction refers to the potential and resources on the basis of the full implementation of community correction work. Community correction workers will help when the focus points gathered in the correction object body, and be good at discovering and playing the positive aspects of the correction object and be good at using the favorable resources of the environment to correct the object of the correction. Strength perspective of community correction to fully exploit the correction object advantages and resources, to stimulate the correction of the resilience of the object and initiative is a positive guidance, taking advantage from the perspective of community correction is more effective in improving community correction effect as well as reduce recidivism rates.In this paper, we adopt literature research method, trying to search through combing and analysis of the evidence-based correction practice both at home and abroad, follow the theory development of evidence-based correction to guide community corrections in our country. To get this goal, this article firstly begins from the problem perspective of connotation, theoretical source, analyzing the application perspective in teaching in community correction mode. In order to solve the shortcomings of limit, there introduced the advantages of Angle of view of social work method. Secondly, this paper introduces the advantages, the development and perspective of social work methods of core and the theoretical basis. Again, this paper analyzes the advantage perspective community correction need to follow the principle of and the perspective of strength to the meaning of community correction. At the end of the article, there puts forward the strength perspective theory to guide the work of community correction, under the strength perspective of community correction specific operation procedure including: advantage evaluation, setting goals and plans, helping others with respect, accessing to resources, etc., to achieve the purpose of improving the quality of community correction.
