Since the humanity has entered in twenty-first Century, the global industry, the economy and the rapid growth of population, a series of problems caused by the shortage of energy, the production of waste, pollution to the ecological environment, especially on earth half of forest disappear, groundwater depletion and pollution, serious damage to biodiversity, climate and other global environmental crisis sounded the alarm to the human race. In order to avoid the degradation of ecological environment by climate change and the catastrophic consequences of the relationship between people, systematic, in-depth study of human and ecological environment, the concept of environmental ethics is formed...Marx and Engels’ s thought of environmental ethics has rich scientific connotation, has a solid theoretical foundation and profound realistic basis; this idea based on dialectical materialism of the subjectivity theory is understanding and a basic principle to deal with the relationship between man and nature. Marx and Engels’ s thought of environmental ethics that human and nature harmony is the ideal state of human survival and development, and for the understanding of facing the contemporary environmental crisis, guidance realize sustainable development and build a social ecological environment has great theoretical significance and practical significance.In this paper, firstly based on the perspective of history and logic of the organic connection, from the perspective of environmental ethics, to the stage of development of Marx and Engels’ s thought of environmental ethics and theoretical thinking were collated and summarized; secondly, proceeding from environment and development, from the view of humanized nature, qualitative change theory and social ecological view of Marx and Engels’ s thought of environmental ethics of China’s ecological civilization construction of theoretical value and guiding significance proposed the way and path to the construction of ecological civilization in China.
